Consistent cleaning of your instruments is critical in extending their life and
efficiency.
At Total Hearing Care, we provide comprehensive cleaning services and carry a
full complement of hearing instrument batteries.
Batteries
Battery
life is related to the size of the battery, your degree
of hearing loss, whether you have a digital, programmable, or standard hearing instrument,
the number of hours you wear the instruments, and how high it is set. Average, zinc-air batteries
will last anywhere from one to four weeks.
It is not necessary to keep your hearing instrument batteries in the refrigerator.
Either recycle or carefully
throw away zinc-air batteries after use.
Do not leave them around – children may mistake them for pills or candy.

If you purchased your hearing instruments elsewhere:
Even if you have purchased your hearing instruments elsewhere, we are happy to provide
you with the service you need and deserve. We offer three service plan options and encourage you to enjoy all the benefits
of improved hearing for years to come.
Plan A: Unbundled Service Plan
This plan allows you to pay for all the services we provide individually as you
need them.
Plan B: Office
Visit Service Plan
This plan allows
you to pay a one time professional fee per digital hearing instrument for 3 office
visits for adjustments and counseling as needed.
Plan C:
Bundled
Service Plan
This plan allows you
to pay a one time adoption fee.We
will extend to you the same full services and privileges as we would to someone
who purchased hearing instruments from us.
This includes visits for hearing evaluations, programming/adjustments/counseling
visits, and future hearing instrument demonstrations. [Professional services such as ear wax removal and tube changes are not included.]

Zinc-air battery packaging is color coded:
size 675 - blue
size13 - orange
size 312 - brown
size 10 - yellow
With each battery purchase at our office, we will clean
your hearing instruments and put them in our high-powered dehumidifier.
Either recycle or carefully throw away zinc-air batteries after use. Do not leave
the batteries around – children may mistake them for pills or candy. We carry several
brands of zinc-air batteries not generally offered in generic pharmacy displays
including Rayovac ProLine Advanced, Premium Starkey and Power One. Our stock is
rotated regularly, guaranteeing that your batteries have not been sitting for months
on the shelf. These fresh premium batteries last longer than generic store-brands.
Additionally, with each battery purchase, we thoroughly clean your instruments with
our special tools, extending the instrument life and efficiency.
